Healing hands of God have mercy on our unclean souls
once again. Jesus Christ, Light of the World, burning
bright within our hearts forever. Freedom means love
without condition, without beginning or an end. Here's
my heart, let it be forever Yours, only You can make
every new day seem so new.

Nail pierced hands they run with blood
A splitting brow forced by the thorns
His face is writhing with the pain yet it's comforting to me

*goes into an odd little mood, singing* "Keep on growing...keep on growing...keep on growing" ... or is it suppose to be "Just keep growing...just keep growing...just keep growing" 0.o h, I'm confused now :forehead: but anyways! Weees! 1,000 members! And welcomes Omega Amen ^.~
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

Just a word: let's not rush Omega Amen's welcome thread and act as if his only worthwhile quality is being the 1000th member. That's be a nasty stigma to have over your head. Then again, it could also be nice to have.

Oh, and I should probably say that I'm happy about reaching this mark as well.

Technically Omega Amen is our 1164th member. The reason he comes up as 1000th is because 164 accounts have been pruned from the database.. we do this occasionally for accounts that have 0 posts and haven't logged in for a while.

Well, that forces us to make a distinction. Do we mean the 1000th person to join, or the person who puts us in the position of having 1000 members? In the latter case, he still applies.

Or we could just move back 164 members and see who that was.

Yeah for quadrouple digits! Man, so technical, guys. Congrats to CAA! Now what would be cool is if we had 1000 members with 1000 posts... wait a minute... that'd be a bit wild...

Um.... Hi.

I just want to state for the record that I had no idea that I would end up being registered as the 1000th member. Considering my career path, it would have been more appropriate if I was the 1024th member. Also, I usually try to avoid the spotlight.

Besides, the credit really belongs to all of you (founders/admins/mods/members). What ultimately made me decide to join was the conduct and the work shown by the people in this... alliance.

There.... I think that's what I wanted to say about this event.

.....

Oh, alright. 1000 does look impressive.
Find me on Steam, PlayStation Network (OmegaAmen), Backloggery, Twitter, and Twitch.tv

That one won't be long in coming at all. You know, for such a young forum CAA is really fairly large. Imagine what we'll be like in about five years.
