Kid in Brandon, FL got stuck in a tree last night

Brandon, Florida— Two dangling legs and a hand were all that could be seen of a fifteen year old boy who managed to get himself stuck inside a hole within a giant oak tree at Paul Sanders Park in Hillsborough County.

Fire Rescue crews were notified of the situation around 7:30 Monday night and arrived to find the boy stuck like a cork inside the tree several feet off the ground.

“He wasn’t moving. He wasn’t going one way or the other,” said Captain Ronnie Johnson who was among the first rescue workers to arrive on scene.

Crews used chisels and drills to enlarge the hole and after about three and a half hours, were eventually able to pull the boy up and out of the hole just before 11:00 p.m.

“I prayed to the Lord and the Lord took care of me and my son,” said the boy's father.

The fifteen year old was taken by ambulance to a local hospital but was expected to be okay.

Perhaps there was a kitten stuck in there and he climbed in to saver it? Who knows, but if the hole's smaller then you.. don't climb in it/through it >_>

He and his younger brother had been climbing trees. He fell back and got wedged in the hole.

He didn't get stuck on the way up.

But seriously, the tree in question is the type that's just begging to be climbed. At least they plugged up the hole so no one else falls in...let's see how long that lasts.

O.O .... and that my friends is why I DON'T CLIMB TREES ANYMORE... heh I used to have to jump down because I'd get stuck in them.. which is the major contributor to my fear of heights..... luckily, I've never experienced anything this CRAZY. XDD

yep... this happened right in my backyard... (so to speak, I'm in Tampa...) and when I heard about it, I just thought it was unfortunate... Of course, I would likely be the one to say... "hey, I wonder if I could get INSIDE that hole!" cause I'm a winner.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of clones. Perhaps even evil clones (you can tell by their goatees)
