I know I've been more than a bit reclusive here on CAA, but I need to spread the word. Less than ten minutes ago I graduated from high school!
It's a nice feeling, knowing that I no longer have to worry about tests and what not until college (pending I find the right one). But it's also a little sad that I won't see many of my classmates for a long, long time.
Well, that's said and done. Now I'm off to go party!

Ah, I know the feeling. Yesterday was my last day of high school (and I almost cried three times, XD).

Same here.......Now on to "real life....."...ON to all the things that we're supposed be responsible about......Years ago when I hated the guts of school itself, I thought I'd be the happiest kid in the world.....But oddly enough, it's almost depressing and a little scary.....but looking forward to going out into the world all the same.....What an Adventure He has planned for us all.......

I remember when I graduated high school (4 years ago...man, I'm feeling old...). It was a bit of an adjustment and an exciting but unsure time. But God has taken care of me and college has been amazing (I've made my closest friends).
Just follow the Spirit's leading and know God has a plan for you and He's in control. Because of this, we can face the future with joy even though it's uncertain.
Congratulations you guys! I'm proud of y'all!

It's more like a silent death to me. But I guess working alone makes it hard to notice any transition.
Two weeks left for me, after that I'm done. And glad to be done. I'm fully anticipating college and living partially independent along with it. There's a lot of challenges that finally meet my level of expectations and surpasses them, so it's really just a process of shedding off an old mask and putting on a new one. I have no past regrets, as I was already at the bottom of the hill, so the only way now is up.

I do as well, but my attitude was more like this:
Goodbye! Good riddance! I'm outta here! So long suckers! Sucks to be you all who have to keep going there! Ahahahahaha!!!
I found it a relief to leave the egregariously immature, shallow, and small-minded people I was forced to interact with in high school; not to say everyone was that way, just far too many. College proved to be a far better fit for me, especially after the first semester when so many people who still had a high school mentality flunked out and I was left surrounded by other like minded people who took their work seriously.

Congratulations on graduating! Now, let me be the first to tell you the following:
Get a job, ya lazy bum.

I wish I had a different job actually.
I'm back from partying! I was actually back a long time ago, but the internet finally started working properly for me. I can't say the party itself was all that fun, but what I did afterwards was. My cousins and I got into my car, pulled down the back seat and parked in front of peoples houses. After they were staring at us, I popped the truck, my cousins (who are twins) would basically jump and yell "Hi!" and slam the trunk back down and I would drive off. We got A LOT of laughs.

Life never starts, does it?
This week I am going to graduate high school...and about two weeks later have a job, I hope. 'Cuz student loans are not a desireable thing. Maybe I can lessen or eliminate their common visage.

Been 2 years since HS graduation.
Have fun in college and study hard. Might party a wee bit, but study should be top priority!

hehe I said Goodbye to that high school 2 years ago, Kiba and I haven't really looked back. I just miss the art teacher, and for a while, our English teacher...until she made fun of my bunny hat >:[
XD seriously though, college ROCKS. The professors are so laid back! And if you study enough along the way it's not so bad!
so yeah! XD

College is amazing, I must say. Sometimes when I'm walking around on campus I can't actually believe I'm in college.
It's a nice transition from high school to the real world methinks.

Life never starts? Life starts when you're born. We just fall into a cult of childhood, believing that there's some mystical, magical time when one transitions into an adult.
What are you too young to do? To run a business? In the middle ages, a significant number of "children" held land from the age of 14 or so. To marry and have children? Mary bore Jesus at the age of twelve or thirteen. To do something great? Tutankhamun ascended the throne of Egypt at eight years old. Modern civilization just teaches people to be lazy, to take forever to develop, and to be ignorant of their own adulthood.
College is not the real world, nor does it particularly resemble the real world. It is an artificial environment, designed to hide from you how society really works, and prepare you to be a skilled employee, instead of reaching your true potential.
(Note for the dense: this post should not be taken as a command to become a 14-year-old landowner, a 12-year-old mother of God incarnate, or an 8-year-old Pharaoh of Egypt. These are examples, and I disclaim any responsibility for those who mindlessly imitate them, especially for those who try to combine them by giving birth to Jesus and then fleeing to Egypt to become Pharaoh. That is just silly.)

Congrats! I miss school sometimes too, the people, not the work. In college there's a lot more freedom (you don't actually have to go to class
) but automatically also a lot more responsibility.
I agree with Kaligraphic though, college is not the real world, at least to me it isn't. And thank goodness we don't have any of today's 8 year olds being rulers of countries.
