Reaching Japan through Media?

I just found this pamphlet for an organization that wants to spread the Gosple through Anime and Dorama. They say they are looking for animators with maya skills.

I think this is kinda funny because one of my friends and fellow animation students wants to work in Japan.

Coincidence? ... Probably not.

Any way the reason why I am posting about this is because I think it is cool that some one is doing this. It sounds like they are actually trying to reach people on their own level.

What do ya'll think about this?

God uses all things for the good of all people. Who says God cannot use the media to further his cause?

The big thing is hopefully investing in people who know Japanese culture, in order to help develop programming that can catch the media market. It's a finicky market, after all.

This sounds wonderful. I think they should make a track that has many Sudoku puzzles and has a path to salvation thing at the end. These things do work sometimes like in the track of the 100 funniest one-liners.

It is easy to make a declaration and much more difficult to complete it.

What is the organization?

I think that it's a good idea. :)

I think that the aim should be to create something that is to anime and Japanese culture what C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia" are to novels and British culture.

An allegorical Christ story that is fairly obvious, but with enough fantastical fantasy elements, and tips of the hat to the more cherished aspects of the broader culture, that it doesn't come across as overly preachy or dispositional.

If they're gonna, then THAT is the way to do it. Japan really needs something like that.

I know this is late, but I think the organization is named Let's Love Japan. They are kind of doing the same thing, and I think this might be who you are talking about. Here is the link. Personally I think it is pretty cool. They were even at Otakon this past year, and I had a chance to speak with them.

Its a shame that the animator that runs this can't throw a few illustrations at the site. Design is good its just... bland, and looks really cheap, not something I would look for if I was a pro animator. Looks like this might be the very beginning though so I hope it improves.
