Funny thing I noticed recently - If I look really close at the credits to an anime with an english dub, 9 times out of 10 it says it was recorded in Canada. I wonder why...

yea

yeah, I think most NA anime companies are based in Canada... I don't know why, though... I mean, it was mostly AMERICAN SOLDIERS in the 80's that were instrumental in getting more mature anime here (by mature I mean "adult content" not actually mature) which of course led to more middle ground anime later... But, in any case, even if it was in the bahamas or something, I'm glad it happened!

Canadians say 'eh' because they are always talking in abriviations. You know that's the country's spelling, right?
C, eh. N, eh. D, eh.

Dun dun dun.

I have noticed quite a few of these as well. Perhaps the overseas laws are more relaxed, and cater to this line of work?

Have you ever actually been to Canada or do you just prefer to make up nonsense as you go along?

I would avoid these kinds of statements in the future, please. There's no need to paint with a broad brush.

once a friend told me it would be a good idea for me to jump off a roof.

anyways...i've been to canada, and i certainly didn't see any of what you're talking about. the most out of place thing i saw their was a group of 8 turban wearing middle eastern men carrying a igloo cooler. a BIG igloo cooler. well...it struck me as odd.
