Gee. I have to admit:

I'm closer to being the dad and watching anime with my kids than I am to getting my parents to watch anime with me.

The real irony here is that my wife doesn't want to have kids...

:)

Oh the irony...

That's cool. My parents are pretty accepting of anime, if I explain to them what's going on. My mother does have a bad tendency to come in just at the climactic battle scene, and assume it's nothing but a bunch of fighting...

On a similar note, I watched the Matrix with my dad yesterday. He liked it more than I had suspected, and now we just might have to find Reloaded somewhere.

Sounds like my parents... My dad tries, though.

I think my dad is ignorant of anime on purpose. He seems to think all anima falls under two categories: "Pokemen" or Dragonball Z.

I love my dad...

I wish my dad was half as understanding, he took one look at unedited Evangelion and dismissed all anime as twisted. *shrugs* oh well, its his loss...

Hate to admit it, but much of anime is (or seems to be) somewhat twisted :D But I'm sure that's not quite what you where talking about (I've never seen Evangelion, BTW).

My mom "can't stand those eyes," or so she says...

I'm old enought for the kids thing myself, but my Ex left before we had any.

So, it's mostly just me :D (and you guys)
