I just love seeing what every one got! What are some things you loved giving? I loved my sister's face when she saw I got her the board game Deplomacy.

Nothing. The enjoyment of watching you people running through retail stores, celebrating your repurposed pagan holiday, is enough of a Christmas present for me.

Nah, I'm kidding. Mostly.

I got quite a few things, but the best was a 256GB solid state hard drive. I cannot wait to get an OS on it and see how freaking amazing it is.

My favorite gift to give? All of them actually...

I made specific ornaments out of airdry clay for all my friends. Ex:

A friend of mine's boyfriend is an artist. So I made a pencil for him, and an eraser for her. Both of them have faces on them, and they are just too cute!

One of my friends has an ipod she carries all the time: So I made her an itouch out of clay and painted little sqares to represent the apps. There is even a smiley face app!

Another friend works with computers: So I made him a little computer that has a smiley face as the screen and made the "Webcam" be the place where the hanging loops goes in haha!

(The smiley faces is something my friends know me for, haha. I seem to be able to find faces in everything...so thats the reason!)

For my mom: I got her this really adorable figure set of these little bears in a school setting. The purpose? This particular set is from a collection of bears that my mom used to have when I was very small...I don't know where some of thoses sets went off too...but I saw this set in an antique store and HAD to get it for her haha.

I got candy (that's always fun), a little wolf that came with the candy that I promptly named Jacob ;D, a mood ring, chapstick, lotion, a cute blue penguin with a blue hat and scarf on, a gift card for $30, and oh yeah.. A BLUE IPOD NANO! I named it Blue Dragon 8D
Oh, and an unknown present my friends are giving me tomorrow :D

What was really funny is that my mom put it in a camera box to trick me, so when I actually saw what my present was (the Ipod) I gasped loudly and apparently my face was hilarious. I've always wanted one <3

I had more fun seeing other people's reactions with their gifts though. I'm going to have lots of fun later cause I still have to give a couple people their gifts :D
All custom made by yours truly :D Mostly dolls lol.

But yeah, lots of fun! :D

I gave my dad and stepmom:

- Chocolate chip cookies
- Pumpkin bread

I gave my husband:

- River City Ransom for the NES (yes, the actual cart)
- A freaking sweet Mazinger Z action figure (actually he was there when I bought it but I wrapped it anyway)
- The same pair of headphones he bought me, which had to be taken back to the store because we don't need three pairs of headphones. XD; So I've got to find him something else.

And I gave two of my friends $10 Amazon gift cards.

My grandma gave me some more tea. Then I mostly received cash. My friend said he got me a leatherbound collection of Sherlock Holmes stories, but I won't see it until tomorrow. Then I still need to get around to making his, which hopefully will be the leather sketchbook cover I'm planning (focus has never been my strong point, plus I need more leather). My parents didn't accept what I was going to give them, which basically was giving back the money they owed me (about $50, but still). Then my uncle and his fiancée received a scrapbook, which my mom urged me toake, as a big thank you and Christmas gift for letting me stay with them.

Wow. You guys get a lot of stuff for Christmas...

I only got 3 things.

#1: Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen
#2: Chrono Trigger
#3: A brown Domo-Kun shirt with Domo's face smack on the front (I really like this shirt. )

Those were my gifts. I'm actually kinda surprised that there are a few members on this site that didn't get more then I did. (I'm usually the person that doesn't get the most presents on Christmas.) I do feel a bit sorry for Roy though since he didn't get anything this year. If I could, I'd get him something nice.

There's one thing I don't like about these kinds of threads. It's so easy to compare the amount (or type) of presents we received but that doesn't do anyone any good.

No Sir Nihilism is Not Practical and Age of Reptiles by Showbread
Is that really the CD's title? Wow. Awesome.
