How do you write 'juu' in hiragana?

This ratty office PC doesn't have Japanese character support, but you would write it like this: ji (shi with voicing marks), a "mini" yu, and then another u.
"you're a doctor.... and 27 years.... so...doctor + 27 years = HATORI SOHMA" - RoyalWing, when I was 27

I could still be champ, but I'd feel bad taking it away from one of the younger guys. - George Foreman

I need help to make sure I get the hiragana spelling of these numbers correct:

hyaku (100)
byaku (as in san-byaku (300))
roppyaku (600)
happyaku (800)
hassen (8000)

Still on this ratty PC (stuck in the office until 5), so I'm going to write this out longhand. Things in (parentheses) are the "little" hiragana. Remember that the little (tsu) doubles the consonant it precedes.

hyaku (100)
hi (ya) ku

byaku (as in san-byaku (300))
bi (ya) ku

roppyaku (600)
ro (tsu) pi (ya) ku

happyaku (800)
ha (tsu) pi (ya) ku

hassen (8000)
ha (tsu) se n

If you want the kanji for these, too, I'll post them tonight when I'm back on my Mac.

The Kanji will not be neccesary. I'm creating flash cards based on my Japanese studies and I wanted to make sure to get the spelling correct.

A question about the small 'tsu'. How do I know when to use it? Is it when there is a double-letter spelling in the romaji?

Correct. It means a doubled consonant.
