For those going thru hard times

Bro. Eddie (a member in my local Church) invited our Pastor, Bishop Hendricks to speak at his college one day and the Lord used him to deliver this message.

Matthew 8: 22 “Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. 23 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith?â€

You know its kinda funny how the disciples were all scared and couldn't do anything to stop the storm but all along Jesus is going through it with them and what is he doing? He is sleeping I'm sure if there was a real problem Jesus would have been awake but he wasn't worried at all :) Now that's something to take comfort in :thumb:

Thanks. I've been recently really scared of falling into Satan's traps, and (I know this is a bit childish...) that he would some how jump out and take my soul, myself, and my faith away from God and Jesus. Thanmks for reminding me that Satan can't doanything to me without God's permission. That really helps me, comforts, me, and reassures me.Thanks

All glory and thanks to God, he knows when and how to send us a word of strength from his mouth. We’re always in a fight and sometimes one struggle is greater than others, but rest assure that God is always there. Satan comes to us with lies and dark forces (demons) to scare us, but the word of God which is more powerful than any two edged sword will cut every temptation and fear. Heb 4:12
God bless you all in Jesus name!!!
