Unfortunately, no... No midi has ever been comforting to me. Because most computers have different wave tables and therefore midis dont' sound the same from one computer to another... That means that what sounds absolutely amazing on one computer (which isn't likely on a midi anyhow) sounds painful and eew on another.

It's even worse for the people still on FM synth...

Oh, just went to the next page... Chrono Cross... Very nice, but I think whoever made it chose one incredibly wrong instrument, or at least the wrong volume for that channel... The... sax is it? Ugh it makes me cringe... it's way too loud. I can't tell what instrument it is... Clarinet? I dont' know...

Also, I noticed how the voice instrument makes it sound more like Chrono Trigger, which is actually quite cool... But that main melody instrument, it's just grating...

Hmm. There was an error on that page that crashed my computer!

Though in all fairness, I'm checking this on the win98 box, so sneazing wrong will crash this computer.

Well when you click on the enter box the music on that screen is from chrono cross (i have the album, its really kool) ^.^ not sure about the music box one though.

Well, the site crash and well... closed out everything on my desktop, then Windows XP.... pops up with that: "Would you like to send this error to M$'s collection of errors bin?"
