Talk about anything in here.

Egad, this is becoming a Goof Off thread... and I still have no idea why it was ressurected in the first place. In that line of thought...

Hey, Inkhana, why is Volt banned?

Woah, sorry about this. I was replying to Technomancer in this thread

The funny thing is, threads don't seem to be kept around very long. If you go back to the "last page" of this forum (something like page 6), it isn't that long ago. Older posts just seem to disappear after a while. I know the particular discussion thread that I'd had in mind has long since vanished.

I somehow managed to delete the quote though, making me look just like a

A Canadian troll?

Alright, that makes sense. Now we can just let this thread disappear again, hopefully.

This is a very interesting topic. We just started covering it in Church this week. They are wrong and although I can't quote anything right now, remember that God says to love the sinner, but hate the sin.

Towi Wakka actually tried to be serious about this, so we shoudl follow suit.

I would say one thing, though: this topic has been rehashed so many times there's really very little new to say. Let's keep this on the level, and not get very negative. Bobtheduck can attest to the fact that this doesn't help anyone. Basically, I'm looking for a reason to lock this thread, so don't give me one.

Once again, discuss the other issue to your heart's content, but please don't discuss the "bad words" issue... It's not as clear cut as some think and, honestly, it is just cause for a lot of argument... So, can we change the topic name to "why is homosexuality wrong" or something, to avoid this problem with newbies?

The best thing to do would be just to stop posting so it won't keep getting bumped. Or we could lock it...

Some of the responses here that came from Leviticus sound really sad and disheartening. However the statement Vegeta made "Dont base your faith or beliefes on what someone at the front of a church says. Think for yourself and love God for your own reasons. Thats the way it should be. No one has the right to question the validity of your relationship with him. Its between you and God and no one else." Was absolutely beautiful and heart-warming.

So many times people blindly follow someone without thinking for themselves and without taking the moment to feel what is in their hearts.

Sorry you feel the word of God is sad...*shrug* I don't base my faith on anime quotes...I prefer "Sad" scripture I suppose. Also...I would advise going by how the Holy Spirit leads you over your heart and emotions...as they are easily swayed to and fro. Anyway this thread is locked...no need hashing this again and again.
