i'll be getting white christmas next year when i finish school for once and go to Korea. sweeeeeeet~~ for once i'll see snow again.

NZers are called Kiwis because of their bird, and their rugby team etc etc. afterall, kiwis live naturally in NZ.

and as for my friend, i have to understand him since we live in australia. sydney. always so warm, hardly ever under water's freezing point.

Since NZ splitup from the original supercontinent, it left a lot of trees and animals originally from the supercontinent (The others where killed off my predators). So, when you're in an NZ forest, you're pretty much seeing what it was like on that supercontinent a few thousand years ago. Quite a weird thought to think.

Cool. Where in Canada?

We had some snow yesterday.

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

A little bit of snow shouldn't mean classes get cancelled. In the seven years I've been here classes have only been cancelled twice due to snow.

I meant "here" as in my current location (McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario). Once we had about a metre of snow fall during the day, and another time we were hit by losts of snow and ice storm (last April).

welp i learned real fast this moring how to drive in the snow, and the best thing i can equate it to is controled hydroplaneing. and unlike in dry weather you should never accelerate through turns, at least with rearwheel drive. but luckily no one got hurt

Oh yes ... winter driving. I had the pleasure of teaching a CA transplant how to drive in the colder elements last year. The hardest (not to mention the scariest :wow!: ) thing to teach him was not to hit the brake if you feel the car being taken by ice. Let's just say ... he had to learn that one from experience.

I'm proud to say that I only went off the road once last winter. Good thing I had a shovel in my trunk. :eyeroll: This year should be a little better for me, now that I have a vehicle with 4 wheel drive.

edit: And Shinja, your sig is making me laugh everytime I see it.
