Japanese Snacks At FYE!

Talk about anything in here.

Postby Sheenar » Mon Jun 02, 2008 6:32 am

I've never even seen Ramune soda...our local Wal-Mart has chocolate Pocky, but that's the only Japanese snack I can get locally.
I would like to try Ramune soda. Let's see...the nearest Suncoast or FYE is about a 40 minute drive away...I rarely go to the mall, but hopefully I'll get to go there eventually.
I'm hesitant to get anything consumable (food, drink) from the Internet--so I'll just wait. *Waits patiently for a ride to the mall*
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Any Asian groceries closer? It isn't guaranteed, but here in North Dallas, I've seen it at Truong Nguyen, Hong Kong Market, and Kazy's Deli (in addition to H.E.B. Central Market.)
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He cause His face to shine upon you.
May He lift up His countenance and grant you peace.

The nearest Asian stores are in Houston -- which is even farther away...
So I will just have to wait to try it. It better be awesome...

Well, your last hope might be HEB. Since Central Market (owned by the same company) carries it, maybe HEB does. We don't have any regular HEBs in my area for me to test the theory on.

Went to HEB tonight to buy groceries...no Ramune soda...but they had lots of Asian noodles, soy sauce, water chestnuts, etc.
Oh well, maybe someday I'll get to try this awesome Ramune soda. From what I've heard, it should be worth the wait...:)

Well, this tells you I don't get out much . . . XDD
