Christian game studio founded

I was browsing gamefaqs.com and stumbled upon this news article:

Apparently, some educational game developers have come together and founded a computer game studio, dedicated to making 'non-offensive' computer games. It's called 'Digital Praise'. It sounds nice, but I don't know about the games they'll be making. If they're not as engaging and exciting, not to mention 'cool' as secular games, I doubt they'll be in existence for very long. Still, it's nice to know that there're people out there who care :).

From the looks of their products right now, I'd say they're marketing towards kids rather than teens or adults.

Interesting...when I was a kid, I remember when Christians were trying to make video games. Needless to say, they never made anything of great quality. :) I don't think this attempt will work out too well either, but we'll wait and see....

On a side note, does anyone remember any of those old NES games? Exodus? Joshua? King of Kings? Sunday Funday? Spiritual Warfare? (I've played all of them except for Joshua...what can I say... :) ).
