Dreamcast is great. I still play it often.

SNES would probably be my all-time favorite though.

But a close runner up would be the Vectrex system from the early 1980's. It was so unique at the time, and had one of my all-time favorite games, Star Castle.

My favorite of all time is certainly SNES -- I had so many fond memories of that game, everytime I see the system I shed a tear or two. Runner-up is Dreamcast, hey it was very inventive.

After a lot of pondering, I think it's a toss-up between the Atari 2600 and the original NES, with the Commodore VIC-20 & 64 as the runners up. 8-bit games rock. :thumb:

I grew up with the Atari 2600, so that system holds alot of nostalgia for me. :)

Fav console of all time: SNES. The largest number of great games, the widest variety of great games, and as far as I remember, the longest reign as the top console. The new systems seem to be getting cycled out too quickly to establish the kind of library that the SNES had (or maybe I'm just getting old and nostaligic).
'Cube and PS2 are tied for second right now. I like the games on both of them, PS2's backwards compatability and Nintendo's classics.

Fav games are the entire Super Mario series, Donky Kong Country series, Mega Man series, R-Type 3, Animal Crossing

I've always been a big Nintendo fan... ever since my GameBoy Pocket when I was little. So my favorite console is the GameCube. I just couldn't live without the Zelda, Mario, DK, and Kart games that are only made by Nintendo! My favorite games are Super Smash Bros. Melee, Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Mario Kart: Double Dash. Super Mario Sunshine is a close runner-up. ^^

Neither could N64, what makes N64 better then Game Cube? I can persnally find a lot more games on GCN that I could enjoy then I ever could on N64.

Which classics? I mean when I think of classics I think of NES or SNES old school games since those are old enough to be considered classics, both N64 and GCN have installments from classic series if anything GCN has more classic series with all the Collection's it has such as the Zelda Collector's Edition, Sonic Mega Collection, and the upcoming Mega Man Collection. As well as sequals to classics like Super Mario Sunshine(very much under-rated), Metroid Prime(about the only first person game I can stand and actually enjoy O_o), Mario Kart Double Dash, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, The Legend of Zelda Four Swords(old school Zelda with a twist).

Hmm... Favorite console? I'd have to say a toss up between the NES and Dreamcast. And though it's third, my Genesis knows I'll always rush to it when my Dreamcast won't read and my NES decides to flash me... To recap;

#1 Console; NES or Dreamcast
#3 Console; Sega Genesis

Favorite games;
#1 Super Mario Bros. 3
#2 Sonic the Hedgehog 2
#3 Jet Grind Radio
#4 Crazy Taxi
#5 Soul Caliber
#6 Virtua Fighter 4
#7 Space Channel 5
#8 Vectorman
#9 Kirby (Any of them)
#10 Ledgend of Zelda (Yeah baby! Gold cartridge all the way!!!)

Edit: Swap out Vectorman for 007 Goldeneye!!!

Favorite will have to be Playstation and Dreamcast. Personally I own ps,ps2,gc,gbp,saturn,dreamcast, and snes. Playstation had the most anime inspired videgames, rare ones, and most fun. Trap Gunner, Final Fantasies, Team Buddies, Persona 1 & 2, Galerians, Evil Zone, Tekken, Silhouette Mirage. Besides that I have to give some credit to Sega CD for all the hits, Popful Mail, Lunar 1, Lunar 2, ect. But Dreamcast is great for all there great anime titles too, Bangai-O, Tech Romancer, Psychic Force 2012, and Cannon Spike. All great systems. I really dislike the X-Box, Nintendo 64, and Sega Genesis alot! ><;;

My favorite current system is definately the PS2, it has more variety and a larger library than game cube or xbox(and i have something against microsoft trying to get into yet another industry). I am a nintendo fangirl from days of old though and for classics you can't beat Nes and SNES, i'm so enamored even graphics wise that'd i'd take the look of Crono Trigger(best rpg of all time) over FFVII(wich i enjoy but don't understand the super uber glowing reviews of) i'm also with classic gamers that the enjoyment of such games as the origional marios, zeldas, and mega-mans will never fade, although the new ones are pretty cool too (exclueding mega-man that is)
I don't sleep in class i just take really long blinks :wow!:

Happy Slave Dance! :dance:
