Was digging through the closet today and found my copy of Return of the King - the EA hack 'n slash. Used to love this game! What other games can I get for PC that have the same style of play?

Well, I'm pretty sure they made similar games based on the previous two movies . . . You might also like the Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors games. They're a bit less polished, but loads of fun with a friend.

For PC? I am not so sure. Usually hack and slash takes the form of action RPGs like the Diablo series or Guild Wars. That is not quite like EA Lord of the Ring hack and slash games.

Is there even a Dynasty/Samurai Warriors game on PC?
Find me on Steam, PlayStation Network (OmegaAmen), Backloggery, Twitter, and Twitch.tv

That was a fun little game, though somewhat lacking in replay value. Charging into orcs with Gandalf's maxed shield is an entertaining experience.

I think that DW4, at least, had a PC edition.

I wasn't too fond of the LOTR games. Kinda cheap graphics, mass produced Gaunlet Legends style enemies in my opinion. But I second the Dynasty Warriors reccomendation! Greaaaaat fighter/strategy game. Might wanna pick up some of the Star Wars games, though I'm not that familiar with the ones for PC (I liked SW:Demolition though) or the Medal of Honor series if you like shooters (not really as hack n' slash as LOTR, but a good actiony game and you get to pose as Nazi in one of 'em!)

Searched around for DW4 Hyper (the PC edition), and can't find it anywhere. I guess it's a bit less than common?

I think Spartan: Total Warrior (a Rome hack n slash spinoff) is for the PC. It's really awesome.

I don't think that one came out for PC. On the other hand, I found that Devil May Cry 3 and Onimusha 3 are on PC. Score!
