I nominate

1)Xenogears-Great story and plot. There are cool mechs too in this game.

2)Final Fantasy 7-Greatest RPG(my opinion)

3)Grand Turismo 2-If u are not a car racing fan,u wouldn't like this game.Cool game as u can customized your car and participate in different races.

Brigandine-A strategy game that no one played, which is a shame, because it was a great game. It combined a cool soundtrack with monsters, a medieval/fantasy anime feel, and an good combat system. The characters were also likable, and the dialogue was intentionally funny.

Street Fighter Collection (1, not 2)-This is a collection of games, but I am only nominating it for Streetfighter Alpha 2: Gold. The SNES ports are just a bonus. :P This is perhaps my favorite PS1 version of the Streetfighter series.

Resident Evil: Director's Cut-Almost as good as RE 2.

I second the nomination for the Final Fantasy and Gran Turismo series. :thumb:

1) Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest (SNES)
2) Final Fantasy Origins: V and VI (PS)

Those are the classics that come off the top of my head. I really enjoyed Mystic Quest, and that was a real classic. The battle system was very old school, and it was for the SNES. That was a great game! I recommend you to play it if you like Final Fantasy.

More that aren't the most classics:

3) Final Fantast VIII (PS)
4) Chrono Cross (PS)
5) Chrono Trigger (PS)

6) Fire Emblen (PS)

That game is not to popular in America, besides just coming out on GBA, it never came out on PS in english in the USA. I have played a demo of it from a Japanese Dragonball Z game that I got. Although the game was in complete Japanese, the RPG battle systems were new and enhanced. I loved it.

Right now I am a little stumped on putting down anymore. I have not played many classic RPG's, besides the Final Fantasy's.

Off of the RPG's I can recommend many games:

1) Doom (SNES)
2) Resident Evil (PS)
3) Grand Turismo (PS)
4) The First Sonic Game (NES)

Sorry I don't really know the real title to that.

5) Duck Hunt (NES)

That game can bring back lots of memories!

I could also get into one great adventure game:

1) SSB (Super Smash Bros.) (Nintendo 64)

As for First Person Shooters, I've already Mentioned Doom and Resident Evil so here are some:

1) Any James Bond (PS/Nintendo 64)
2) Halo (Xbox)

I know your looking at me like "WHAT?" but let me explain. This game has some classic first person shooting to it. You go on adventures and you run in like a space ship type thing. It's not a classic, but it has classic first person shooting in it.

3) Metroid Prime (SNES)

That game coudln't be left out!

I think that I am out of classic games, and games that have classic stuff in them. I think I have mentioned enough, so I hope you enjoyed it all. Thank you!

I was not a big huge fan of Tomb Raider, but Metal Gear Solid was great. Are you talking about the Playstation version?
