Problems with PS2....

Postby Lehn » Sun Sep 26, 2004 2:03 pm

Alright...... I can't save my FF7 game on my PS2.

I get on the save point, and I go down to save, select it, and the Slot 1/Slot 2 things are darkened. I click on them, and a box pops up saying that there isn't a memory card available, even though I have an extra 8-bit memory card that plugs into the front of the console……

:eyebrow: Any clue?

To save a regular PS game on a PS2, you need a PS memory card. ^_^; Sucks, don't it?

KD is right. FF7 is a playstation one game, and expects a PS1 style card. The way data is saved is significantly different, so PS 1 games can't read PS2 cards.

Although, I found 3 PS1 cards at target for $12.00 the otherday, so it's not like they are TOO expensive...
