I have a confession to make...I love the Flare Gun...it is my favorite weapon they have added so far...and probably will be my favorite weapon in TF2 forever...and ever...and ever...

It could probably run like 10 copies if Crysis at the same time. XD

Ryans right... basically a multi core processer AT THIS TIME... only allows you to run multiple programs with full processing power of a core. Game playability often depends more on your RAM, your GPU, your Hard drive speed and, in the case of multiplayer games, your internet connection.

I did read that. Of course, the one I spec'd had the 32 GB of RAM, the 15k RPM hard drives, a RAID setup, and all that, so . . .

On-topic: I'd be interested to know how those of you who've got/used the unlockable weapons think it changes the gameplay, for better or for worse.

*sigh* So, all of the stuff I did as a scout on saturday never got recorded because I blue-screened, and within five seconds of playing today I froze up. I don't know if it's the game or if it is my computer, but the game is utterly unplayable for me. I suppose I'll have to bow this one out, gang.

I'm gonna say that it's your computer, Etoh. D:

And Rai, the new weapons add a small yet considerable amount of extra flavor in the game. Bear in mind while these weapons are different, they are not exactly BETTER. Well, they can be better, but usually in different circumstances.

With the medic, I generally only use the Blutslauger and the Ubersaw, while I retain the old Medigun. With the pyro, I use only the axetinguisher. The backburner is really nice, as it gives you an extra 25 health, but I like being able to deflect rockets and bombs with a blast of air. I also find the flare gun to be kind of pointless. It's useful against only snipers and far-away spies, but like 80% of the snipers and spies in TF2 suck anyway.

I haven't gotten a good chance to check out the new updates, mainly because when I did play everyone and their brother was playing as pyro or medic. The air burst sounds awesome to me. Can't wait to see more of these updates too. I want to meet the spy!
