Picked up a used copy of Alone in the Dark: Inferno (the PS3 version). It's actually not bad. A few flaws here and there, but nothing that can't be adapted to. It's fun, and ultimately that's what matters.
Can't for the life of me imagine why it's split up like that, though. I mean, chapters, fine. A lot of games do that. But to make them all skippable from the get-go? Odd, that.

Left 4 Dead.

It's a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the only people willing to play with me needed fifteen minutes of explanation on how to climb ladders/jump/walk up stairs.

Lord I wish I was making that last one up.

Nope. But I don't blame her, this was actually the first FPS I'd ever played on a console for more than an hour. At first it was a little frustrating, but the backseat gaming got pretty funny after a while.

I'm currently getting my butt kicked by Mirror's Edge.

Replaying Silent Hill Homecoming, going for a different ending. For the ending I got and for doing the Konami code on the "Press Start" screen, I got 2 new outfits (though unfortunately you can't switch outfits during the game - pick one at the beginning and you have it for the duration) and . . . oh hecks yeah . . . a circular saw. *Puh-BWWAAAAAAAAHHH!!!*

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES

This is a long RPG. I've been working on it since late last year, although admittedly I've taken time off from it every now and then.

I'm in September however, so not too much longer I don't think.

Last night, I played a demo of Avalon Code (DS). It's interesting; I like the idea of taking "attributes" from your enemies and then applying them to your weapons.

I haven't played MGS since my first try against Metal Gear, so I still have to do that...

But I'm activly playing through the Call of Duty: World at War campaign on the PC, The Bourne Conspiracy and Assassin's Creed on the 360.

Scratches: The Director's Cut

I hate sounding immature and impatient, especially when it comes to adventure games. I say this so you'll know I mean it when I say AUUUUGH this game is so BORING.

Granted, I only just completed the first day, but so far this game has been nothing but uneventful backtracking and busywork. "Go down to the basement and fix the fuses!" "Go find some candles!" Oooh, we're having fun now!

It has to get better, right?

Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

Only classic Zelda game I own or that I really bothered to finish. Nice to see a reversal in that I am actually better at this game now than when I was younger.

I'm sorry, but you are now full of fail and lose in my book. :P

I absolutely loved the game and story. It's my favorite Adventure game.

And yes, it gets better.

I'm sorry. It's just...well, if I wanted to wander around aimlessly, staring at furniture and talk in a stuffy British accent while slowly boring myself to death, I'd do it without a CD. But when I want to solve puzzles and have a neat story to go along with it, I play an adventure game. I have seen no trace of either puzzles nor story in Scratches, thus far. And I've seen even less amounts of scary, making it even more disappointing.

I'll keep with it, though. I mean, it couldn't be worse than Runaway...

Lost Planet was 75% off on Steam, so I bought it. Pretty fun game, I just wish that there wasn't mouse lag (it's not something wrong with my PC, just a problem with the game itself, Capcom implemented the mouse movement with the analog stick movement code, or something weird like that), so I just play it with my 360 pad.

Noby Noby Boy. Wow. That's a weird one. Even weirder than its predecessor, the Katamari series. But well worth the $5.

Last time I was at Blockbuster I noticed they have 2 copies of Afro Samurai for PS3, but they were out. I'm about to go see if either one is in this time.

Edit - Here is Spoony's official word on the Afro Smurai game:
It's like Ninja Gaiden Sigma, but it doesn't suck.

Half-life 2, finally.

I wish I could play it on PC, but oh well. Xbox will suffice and it was cheap too!
