Name that Game (please?)

Name that Game (please?)

Postby Golden_Griff » Mon Oct 04, 2004 9:28 pm

I was at Walmart this past weekend and I saw this game that looked neat. But I didn't write the name of it down and now I can't think of what the title is :bang: It's really bugging me because I want to learn more about it.

Anyway, the game has a boy on the front with about three or four little monsters. The background is blue (I think). It's a game made by Sega.

I remember reading something that said "create, breed, and train your monsters to be the best" or something to that extent. It's NOT monster ranchers, it's NOT pokemon, and it's NOT digimon--that much I know. It looks like one of those games that won't sell as much but, like I said, I don't know enough about it to make that judgement.

If you think you could help me I'll appreciate it.

PS: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it's made for the gamecube.

Ah, you're talking about Amazing Island.

Here's a review at gamespot:

Hmm... they gave it a fair rating..... if it's still full price at $50, I'd wait for the price to go down.

*squeals*

LINK! Thank you! That's exactly it!

I had a feeling that it didn't get high scores. But then again, not everything stinks just because the majority of gamers don't like it. I've found myself to enjoy games that people thought to be terrible just because of 2d instead of 3d graphics.

Anyway, thanks so much Link. I appreciate it :)

Hmm, Pikmin...I should check that out too...

Growing....them? Hmm...me like the sound of that *rubs chin*

As for this Adventure Island game, I don't think I'll enjoy it. :stressed: I like the concept of designing monsters but it's the whole party game idea that turns me away. I was thinking it was something more like an adventure rpg or something.

And OldPhil, don't conform :P

CAWWW!!!!:mutter:
