Guitarpraise: An excellent Idea,executed badly. The name doesn't help it either...or the fact that it's a PC only game.

BTW,not all Christian music is terrible. a lot of it is pretty good.

And for the record I mostly(about 90% of the time)listen to Secular 80's and 90's music.

So I was trying to point this out: it's interesting how the mainstream gaming media is approaching this game and is much more positive than we are about it. I guess it also helps that they've probably actually played it.

That's because Christian videogaming has traditionally carried a solid reputation for mediocre/shoddy gameplay, bad production values, and generally are bad knock offs of other popular titles.

However, I would be in a more positive frame of mind about this one, if just for the fact that from a marketing standpoint RedOctane should have been the first ones to come up with it and they didn't.

I see no reason why a Christian Guitar game shouldn't have been made.

That said, it holds no interest to me personally, unless someone comes along and makes a Christian hard rock/heavy metal version. Demon Hunter and Showbread, anyone?

yeah they did that with a game called "dance praise" and you could describe it with one word "lame" but! dance praise 2 came out and that game is really good. so hopefully they will do the same with guitar praise. but as far as guitar games go. frets on fire is the best! if you can't download the song you want, you can make you own. plus there is a mod for it that makes it look just likd gh3 or rock band.
