Echoes is a freeware game by Binary Zoo Studios, and it is, in a word, freaking awesome. (that was two words, but who's counting?)
I'm sure most of you have played asteroids, and I'm sure some of you have played geometry wars. This game is like a crazed caffein-injected hybrid of those two games. The effects and sound are simply stunning, and it's incredibly fluid and looks absolutely beautiful on your screen. It's totally hectic and colorful and bizzare and will have you twitching like crazy.
