A friend of mine just inlisted a little while ago, he's leaving for basic training on July 15th. He isnt saved, and has grown up in a pretty rough enviorment, yet he is a better man than I. I really want to see him saved, if the Lord will, before he leaves.
He went to see the passion with me a couple months ago, and is considering going to church with us this sunday. I would ask that you would pray for him, that if he does go, that this would touch him somehow, and pray for me, that my pride doesnt get in the way to witnessing to him.

I'll keep it in prayer, Uriah. Just make sure he gets the Message -- the Message does the rest.

By my pride getting in the way, I mean like being embarassed or afraid to share the Gospel. Fear of man is a form of pride, and I have a lot of it.
He inlisted in the army as a mechanic, he's going to work on small vehicles and the like.

I'll pray too, and admiting that pride/fear is a first step, I always find its easier to do something for God when I think about who He is. and picture as best I can, Him telling me, I find its much harder then to say no. Gods a gentleman, He wont force you to do anything, but maby this will help you a bit when He asks you to do something.
