Bible Drop

Postby Ducky » Thu Jun 10, 2004 4:46 am

One of my friends got it on her heart to do a Bible drop at our high school this winter. We go to a public high school and our class is graduating on friday. Today is our last commencement rehersal and we are passing out a Bible to each member of our graduating class... so basically we're asking for prayer that our classmates will be open to God's word and that everything will be well recieved. This is cleared with school officials and perfectly legal.

Sounds like a good idea. Perhaps just the action itself will plant some seeds.

Thanks for the prayer... we did the drop and just about everyone took a Bible. It was pretty funny though because just before we were supposed to get everything all set up I locked my keys and the Bibles in my car and I had to get my mum to bring my spare keys from home (half an hour away). Still, God is good and He certainly worked everything out for the best and grew our faith in the process.

Great to hear, I'm glad it went well. I will pray that God's will continues to be done in the lives of those who received the Bibles, and that He is thus glorified.
