Sorry to hear about your grandma, but because she's Christian, she'll be going Home very soon! I'll pray for her and your family, purplemoose.

I am sorry to hear that she is going to pass away soon. I went through that with my fathers parents...they lived with us till they both passed away. But praise God they both knew the Lord. That is somthing to take peace in. While it might hurt the loved ones who remain...it is great to think that the person is free of pain and with the Lord.

I would like to add something to my brother's prayer request.

While this time is difficult for all of us, our sister (who is known as Gala here in CAA) is really taking it really hard. I would like it if someone would pray for God to help all of us, especialy our sister, through the hard times we have ahead of us.

You got it. I will be praying for you all during this time...its a tough time that much is fact.

Lord, please give this family peace during this time of sorrow. Deaths in the family are never easy...never fun to deal with. But you know that, you care when our hearts are broken. Please, during this time of frustration and unrest...give the whole family a peace that You are in control...that You are with there grandmother....If it is Your will to take her home...please, make it as painless as possible. We also pray that the family would take peace in the fact that she will be with You...and that they will see her again. We pray all of this in Jesus' name. Amen.

I would like to thank all of you for your support. It really helps when you know someone is praying for you. I will let you know if anything changes... for better or..... you probably get what I mean. Again, I would like to thank all of you and ask you to continue praying for us.

I will definitely pray and I echo Shatterheart's prayer.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.
