I could use some prayer if you get a moment.

I got a call the other day from an old friend whom I haven’t seen or talked to in over 5 years. Let’s just call him, “jfunkâ€

will be praying for that.

I have recently found myself in a similar situation. I will pray for you too.

I really hope things go well for you this weekend. I'll make sure to pray for you.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord." Luke 4:18-19

I pray that God would use you, to set your friend free from the bondages of sin...

Though I have little to tell you. Things did not really go as I had hoped. He kind of dodged around my attempts, every time I tried to talk about God. I could tell he didnt really feal comfortable, so I backed off, and we spent most of the time just talking about life.

We remembered about our childhoods together, and where we both were now. I tried to apply Gods Grace in my life to our conversation, when ever I could. But I never really got a responce. I did feel a little reasured that he is sincere in his efforts to put some of the "bad" things out of his life, but its not that same a excepting Christ.

I know this will be a long process, but I am still convinced that God wants me to share his Gospel with my friend, and so I will stick with it.
