CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hello, I am not sure if people remember me. I try to visit this site when I can but I have been so busy. I feel kinda guilty asking for prayer when I haven't been on here :/ Here a few things I'd love prayer for none the less.

Anyway. I moved back in with my family, and my boyfriend moved in as well in a spare guest bedroom. He moved in to help with my parents ministry. It hasn't been going so well though. I don't feel like my parents like him at all. Even though he is there trying to follow God and help them. We soon want to get married and don't really feel accepted by my parents. I'd love some prayer for the situation, that this house hold wont feel divided anymore and that we can all focus on God. There is just general confusion and frustration that I feel on a daily basis here. Please be praying for Gods love to be shown through all of us.

I would also like prayer for direction, Both my boyfriend and I want to get married soon, we both emotionally are there. Yet financially we are not even close. We feel a lot of pressure to do things the traditional way. We want to follow God though. We are both really unpractical. Please pray that we keep seeking Gods will and that it will be clear to us. At this point I have no idea what direction to go. Yet I am pushed almost daily by others to decide.

Lots of things have happened so I thought I should post a update. About three weeks ago, I hit some major issues with me graduating with my AA. It's a really big story that is kind of complicated, but in the end I gave it to God. A few days later I had a conversation about getting a BA in Psychology and it just made more sense. My boyfriend let go a lot of fear as well about getting more schooling and felt he should as well. We have both been openly talking to my parents about getting married and jobs and college and it turns out that they misunderstood my boyfriend. They thought he didn't want to get a second job so that we could live together. There objection to us getting married made way more sense after hearing that. Anyway, now we have a flexible plan we feel is from God. We are saving up money to get married and applying for college, then go of to college together. Please pray that God continues to guide us. Pray that our wants don't get in the way of what God wants. I also am trying not to worry about Math and how well I will do in school. I have never been the best student. I work hard but certain subjects are really hard for me. Please pray God empowers me. Thanks guys!

Praying for you, Maka. Glad some things are coming together. And I definitely understand the concern of letting your wants get in the way of God's will. I'll be praying for that, but keep your heart towards God and I'm fairly certain the rest will work out. God's awesome like that.
