need strangth

Hello everyone, about five months ago I accidently stumbled onto a porn web site, (I misspelled one stinken letter! please don't look down on me.) and ever sense then it has been extremly hard for me not to read bad anime, go to bad websites, or read bad magazines. I've started liking that stuff!

I like seeing scantly clad women, or women whith nothing on at all! PLease if you could pray for strangth to click X at the top of the bad web site, and close that bad anime or magazine. It would really save my future before I get addicted or somthing. Thank you and see you around the forums.

I'll share what helped me out of a similar situation.

Lust is basicly the dehumanizing of a person into a sexual object. The easiest way to deal with it is to rehumanize the person that you are lusting after. The way that I did this was to meditate on the crucifixion of Christ and actually picture myself there with Mary and John and my guardian angel. Then I would picture the person I was lusting after there in front of me kneeling before Jesus and I would clothe them with a white garment and pray for them, that they might know that they are truly loved by Christ. After doing this it became very hard to view that person as an object anymore. This is harder to do with anime since they aren't real people, but you could reflect on how your objectification of anime harms the way that you see all people. I still use this form of prayer today, but now I use it for all sorts of things, and not just for lust. It is very powerful.

Inferno.... I know what you are talking about. Well, that was what my plea for prayer was about when i asked you guys for it a while back. The battle is never over...but we have victory in CHrist. I'll pray for you, brother. You just focus on God and on His love and grace and mercy. Fight the good fight.
