Death of a Father

You guys, my good friend Sam just lost her father. He was in the hospital after a stroke and was actually recovering. But Tuesday morning at 3:00 am, he died, leaving a heartbroken wife, a grown daughter with an oblivious child, and a shocked and already suffering teenage girl- my friend. Please pray for their family. This is a very trying time indeed for her. Please pray regularly for her. She and her family really need your prayers! I'll tell her you all are with her in prayer. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

No problem. I've never suffered the death of a close family member, but I can understand how it is.

I love my father dearly and consider him one of my heroes. I imagine the grief your friend is experiencing is tremendous....
I will pray for them, Angel37.

I will most certainly pray for your beloved friend and her family as well.
If I may add some advice...
Tell your friend to remember the good times and not losing him. Tell her to think of his smile, his laugh, his favorite food... Anything. She is very lucky to have grown up with her father around.
I should know - my father passed away of cancer when I was eleven months old. My heart goes out to her and her family. *wipes away a tear and prays*

I will pray for your friend and everyone involved. I have not yet lost a close family member, so I really don't know what it's like, but... my heart really goes out to people who do.

These prayers are ones that God the Father certainly understands himself, the loss of a loved one, its hard to see through the pain and suffering at first, but undoubtedly there will be a day of resurrection, and I pray for that day of healing for those who mourn now and will then be laughing

Thank you all who replied to this! I sent the link to Sam and she was extremely touched and grateful to see so many people praying for her! Please keep her and her family in your prayers and thank you. Your prayers help and it shows just by watching her get through this rough time. We will have the victory over death. Continue your prayer and thank you so so so very much!
Your sister in Christ,
Angel of Zarn
