Haha, well actually more like "I don't think so!" Well yea, God has laid down on my heart to start a conference in my state. I've just gotten so tired of the way everyone is here, I want to make a difference. I can't stand just watching people fall away from the church, or the church fall with them for that matter. Anyway, I have no idea how to do this. I'm just trusting God to lead me as I try to figure it out. I have some contacts at least, but I'm kinda scared. Hm, God will show me the way. Anyway, pray for me and if you have any tips, thanks!:thumb:

Wow. This is pretty prayer-worthy. I'm not quite sure what kind of conference you mean; can you elaborate? I'm praying in any case.

I was just reading in Sunday school the passage in Acts where Philip evangelizes to and baptizes the Ethiopian Eunuch, which seems very relevant.

God has all the authority to make things succeed or fail, so make sure he's in the lead. Listen carefully for his voice and follow it, and you will do the right thing.

Best of wishes and prayers!

Oh, and if there's any way I can help, don't hesitate to ask, okay?

Thank you so much guys! I'll tell you more about what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to figure out a place to have (hopefully, if not more) 150+ people meet in TN. I'm trying to get Sean McDowell to come speak (some of you may know who that is, but he was co-author for "More Than A Carpenter"). He has a friend in TN though so I might try to get him, that is if Sean himself can't come/too expensive. I need a band to come and play too, which I'm still not sure about. The meeting place I think would be best to either have at a college or... well I'm not sure. I need to start contacting churches and other ministries by the end of the month and see if they can give me some tips or even help out with funds. Of course thought, I had to get rid of a few burdens, forgive myself and such. I prayed for God to give me a sign last night... and I think me answered me since I let go of a burden I've been carrying for four years now. Thank you for your prayers! I'll keep you updated!

Time to post some news!

Alright, I'm meeting up Sunday with some people at our church that do home missions. They're going to give me some information on what I need! (And just in case you guys want to know, they are DUI Ministries. :)) Thank you so much for your prayers! I've gotten out of that hole I've been in. I got thrashed for a couple of days. :/ It was pretty tough. Anyway! So I'm continuing on with the research on local places that I may like to have it, prices, ect. I'm still not sure where I want to have it, but I do have a year. :thumb:
