Crippling Slowness

Hey guys,
I have a problem; my problem is slowness - general slowness - in work, and according to my parents everything else as well: movement, speech, etc. It is a real problem because it prevents me from doing many of the things I want to do and things I have to do. Factor in the problem I have with skiving in my Sin thread, and it gets worse. :stressed: I need to speed up, and I need God's help. To me, I'm already moving fast, but if my parents say my fast is slow, I know I have a problem...and they do say that what I say is fast is slow. My Mom gets so angry at me because she says I'm too slow and bursts into fits of rage, which are very hard on me. Parents :mutter: = Me :sniffle: Please pray for me, and give me some advice. Thanks guys! I will pray for myself too of course. Thanks again! :bang: :?:

I will pray for you, and offer some advice.

First, do you own and wear a watch? If not, it might be a good idea to buy one, so that you can get an idea of who long it actually takes you to do certain things.

Creating a schedule might also help. That way your day would be in perspective, and you might be motivated to move faster.

It is also possible that your parents are just being unreasonable. If that is the case, there isn't much that I can say. At least consider it as a possibility .

I will pray for you, Wiggins.

Plan to get things done/get places early. That way, even if you fall behind you'll hopefully at least be on time.

Wiggins, I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post here. I agree with CB wing that possibly your mom's being unreasonable. It's very common for boys between the ages of 13 to 16 or 17 to move very slow. My son is growing like a weed and this really affects him. He would love to sleep around 10 hours a day and it's like pulling teeth to get him to do anything. I think this is a common problem and maybe your mom should be happy with the fact that you're accomplishing the tasks that she does ask of you.

I, of course, don't know all the information and I will definitely pray for you. Keep doing your best and God will bless you. ^_^

I'll be praying for you, wiggins. Like t_n_c said, it doesn't sound unreasonable that you would move slowly. I'll be praying for both you and your mom.
