my brothers sick and he barely eats food he say's the smell bothers him, please pray for him so he can get better

Hey chibi, thanks for opening this up for prayer. You're such a great sister. ^_^ We'll keep praying for Josh.

To inform others here. I'm chibi's mom. Most of you know that. My son has not eaten since Nov. 23rd. At first it had been diagnosed as food poisoning. They gave him medicine and he ate a few things, but still never really ate. After another week we took him to the doctor again. He was given antibiotics, large hard-to-swallow pills, and he couldn't take them. But, he said he was feeling a little better. So, we let another week pass by. He gradually stopped eating even the little food he had been eating before. We took him to the doctor once more. My son felt as if there was a clot in his throat. We went for x-rays and such. X-rays showed his throat was fine. The doctor gave us antibiotics, liquid form and Rondec. He thought maybe it was the sinus drainage which Josh gets badly around this time of year.

The doctors and us have no idea what is going on. He shows no signs of physical problems. Our sensei said that sometimes he has to force himself to eat after a fast. Possibly, Josh, is going through a phase like someone after fasting. So, we are trying to force him to eat. He's been eating a little for the last couple of days. He ate three rolls last night. Fortunately, he drinks a lot of liquids so he stays hydrated. He's lost 20 pounds. I know prayer will help because I think it is a psychological issue. He has a lot of issues because of his neurological disorder, and the smell of food bothering him we wonder if it has to be related to his OCD.

I too, will pray, I have a little brother myself, and even though I fight with him sometimes, I'd hate to see him hurt or sick.
Dear God, I pray for the well being of chibi_chans brother, I pray that you heal him and give him the will and want to eat again, I ask that you stop the smell of foods from bothering him, and help him get back to his full health, and blessed be his family for keeping there faith in this time when it's most needed, in Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Darn. looks like I missed the boat! Anyway I'm very glad your brother is starting to feel better NOBODY should go over a month without eating. Goodness gracious I can't imagine what could have caused him to do that...

I wanted to let you know that Josh is doing better. He's been eating for about five days. He only wants to eat peanut butter toast, but then he's always been a picky eater. *hehe* He doesn't mind the smell of food as much as he did. So all in all he's better.

Chibi_chan and I really appreciate your prayers. You've all been very kind. I had told Whiteblaze that we might take Josh in for a blood test because we had heard from a friend that his symptoms sounded like Hepatitis B. I'm still considering doing that, although Josh has adamantly complained because he's scared to death of needles and having blood drawn. We'll see.

Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know how he's doing. Thanks
