Seems to me that this is harassment that should be reported to the school.
I'll pray

I agree with AnimeHeretic, it is harassment and you should report it to the teacher or principal.
I'll pray things work out.

Rejoice! What a wonderful thing to be threatened because of our Lord. May the Lord bless you for the persecution you suffer and give you wisdom in dealing with your adversaries.

I agree with what has been said before, this is harrassment and should be reported to school officials. It is your right to read the Bible or whatever other literature you may want to read anywhere.
Other than my repeating what has already been said. I will pray for you.

Yes I know but the thing that upsets me most is my teachers see this harasment and don't care, but I should rejoice because of my persecution but when they threaten to burn my bible that really gets on my nerves
and thank you for your prayers

It could be a double standard. If you were Moslem and reading the Koran, you know the kids would be expelled immediately for making threats. If the teachers won't act, it may be time to go to the dean or principal.

One possible solution is to actually give them the Bible when they threaten to burn it. I know it may not always be easy to get another Bible, since that usually costs money, but if you keep giving one to them every time they threaten you, they may actually quit doing it after a while. Plus, there's the possibility that they won't actually burn it and maybe even open it up.
That's just something to consider. This may be one way to serve God. And if you do hand over your Bible, you can always say something like "I'll pray for you," or "It's not mine; it's God's Word." Say it sincerely, without malice, and with a smile, and that could serve as a witness in and of itself.
I'll pray that things work out and that God gives you strength.

I'll pray for your endurance and for those who are that blind.

>"< Just be careful Josh.. There are many people with different religions and cultures, and you must respect them, even if you do not believe in their religion. When you bring a bible to a public school, you should know that you're putting yourself in a dangerous position to be picked on. I'm not saying it is a bad thing that you're doing.. I'm just warning you to be careful okies dokies?
I will pray for your safety and faith.. >^^<

Keep strong Josh *hugs
it's kind of scary that your getting kids like that but i agree with the others..be diligent but i'd say give them a Bible too and you know if they keep on harassing you..often times it's because they're bored >< or because they're honestly searching but they see you..who know's what life is and they envy it..
anyways Keep going strong bro and don't back off because of threats..talk to them in love and keep close to God and his wisdom
*smile
you got prayer on your side too bro
cya and God bless

I'm praying for you too. You should listen to everyone who says you should report those people to the police for harrasment. It has been my expereince that peopple threatening you just don't stop with name calling and idol threats someone will follow through which will only give the rest of them the "courage" (for lack of better word) to do the same. Stay strong and know that God is with you always.

I prayed, man!
And guess what? Similar things happened to me. But I usually silence them by not wimping out on their attacks, they seem to somehow respect it.
But I'm actually happy about those attacks, it gives me the ability to enhance God's kingdom and pray for those, that need to get saved. (always bind the power spirit and guidance spirits first)
You could even tell them about the Bible's Prophecies and stuff (read revelation infront of them, and when they ask what you'r doing, tell them.)
Of coarse, only when God's timing is right.
Remember that when they reject the scriptures, that it'll be their responsibility, not yours, when they're standing infront of his throne. And when they mock, they're not mocking you, but God (That's right, I wouldn't mess with him either. Ain't very wise.)
Instead of fearing them stand for your faith! And be in control of the conversation yourself.
God will use you than.
And if you believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit:
Praying in tongues always helps, and ususally God will use you to defend your faith to enhance his kingdom when you do do this
Always remember these:
Heb 13:6
So we may boldly say:
"The LORD is my helper;
I will not fear .
What can man do to me?"
NKJV
Isa 54:17
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,"
Says the LORD.
NKJV
Luke 6:22
22 Blessed are you when men hate you,
And when they exclude you,
And revile you, and cast out your name as evil,
For the Son of Man's sake.
NKJV
God will deal with them, just pray for them, and keep strong in your faith.
Remember, Jesus took all that fear on the cross.
They're not saved man, what else would they do? They don't understand God, Because they've got a dead spirit.
I know how you feel. I had a huge fear of man, I must have been the most self-protecting person here! (had a demon of rejection )
But after my baptism in the Holy Ghost, a big chunk fell off. And God dealt with me.
I hope this was of use to you...somehow.
