Divine inspiration...

Postby Kkun » Tue Dec 07, 2004 9:56 am

I should probably preface this, by saying that asking for prayer of this is probably pretty dumb, but I wanted to start off on the right foot, so here I go.

So, my friend and I are working on something of a musical project and if you would just pray that I'd be lead by the Spirit in the writing of the lyrics and music, I'd appreciate it much. I don't want them to sound trite, cheesy, or like I'm trying to replicate the kinds of music that I listen to. I've been studying the word a lot more lately for inspiration, and I can say it's helped.

Also, if you would be inclined to pray that we could find a few committed Christians who play the drums and guitar who would be interested in joining this little band, I'd also appreciate that.

So, to anyone who reads this, thanks.

Okay, I'll pray.
Good luck--well, so I don't believe in luck, but I don't know what else to say. You get the idea though, right? lol.
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

All Christian writers/artists face the same challenge so I think I know what you mean. I'll pray for your project. ^_^ Have faith, let God lead you even though you may find some ideas that pop in your head pretty strange later on (it happens to me hehe).
