Hey again....
Okay....now I've been wondering about this for a while (cause it sort of freaks me out) and.....I really need advice on this....
OKay...
There's this guy on the the men's baketball team who.....for SOME reason.....hugs my mother.....and....he's like 16 or 17 i think....and I'm NOT really good friends wit him...I mean he'll say hi in the the halls or something cause the girl's and the boy's basketball team practice together....but...
It just REALLY weirded me out when he hugged her.....and the other day when we had a game and since we don't have a bus or van and we had to ride in different cars......HE decided to ride with my mother and my friends mother INSTEAD of riding with the REST of the BOYS!!!!!
.....am i just paronoid.....am I just taling it WAY out of proportion??
Am I jealous???
(There's another thing about this guy that weird's me out but that's another story......)

Have you tried talking to your mother about this? I might probably wait a little bit more before I jump to any conclusions.
But yeah that is a bit weird.

Yeah, I'd say everything that Mave said. It's probably nothing, but, if you REALLY are sure there's something to it-- talk to you mom.
And yes, you are jealous. In a good way. I wouldn't allow some 17 year old to hit on my mom. It's a proper protectiveness. Now if you start hating him-- that would be something different all together. But if you're just ocncerned, that's the proper response.

I can say it's probably:
1) he may have a crush on your mother. Call me crazy but it does happen. I mean have you ever had a crush on one of your teachers growing up? Same theory.
2) Perhaps your reading too much into it. I know sometimes (when I was in High school) after wrestling practice I didn't want to get into teh bus w/ all the other really noisy guys. I just wanted some peace and quiet.
3) Maybe he just likes to converse with your mother. Doesn't necessarily mean he has a crush.
You never know, it could be one of these or some other reason. But if you concerned I'll be sure to pray for you. Good luck.

Your probably right about him conversing with my mom....he does talk to her a lot....so maybe he just likes talking to her about things.....

With out knowing the young man's situation, it's hard to say. Perhaps he looks at your mother as a surrogate mother. Perhaps he has a crush on her. It seems kind of innocent in any case at this point, so I wouldn’t worry too much without some showing of deeper affection – such as holding hands, kissing, or general clinginess. I pray it resolves itself soon.
