Hi. You all have helped me through the deaths of my two friends, and I hate to bother everyone, but I just found out that my friend/ ex boyfriend from church smokes. It scares me, because my best friends his girl friend and her mom may die from smoking. I just really need you to pray for Matt. He needs to stop smoking... It scares me to think about life with out Lynn (my friends mom) and then I think about what would happen if Matt were to die... I don't want Mel to go crazy... She's been though too much in her life already... Thanks for before... you guys are the best.

He *definitely* needs to quit, and I'll keep him in prayer, but I can also give you more concrete help if you like on not only the long-term effects, but the short-term ones (the practical day-to-day reasons why you shouldn't start).

the sooner you quit the easier it is... // i have some methods to "train" a person not to smoke. but the person really needs to want to quit, there are things involved in it.

my dad still smokes and sometimes i hide his cigaretes because i see the consequences of smoking through my grandma shes slowly dying from lucemia and it sometimes scares me

p.s don't hide his cigirates it got my dad reeeeeeal ticked
