CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

On Tues, my teacher, a muslim convert, gave his testmony on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. This is the first time in history that a former muslim has given their testimony on international TV undisguised. It went very well and please continue to pray that it has a good effect on those who heard it and that nothing bad will come of it. He took a huge risk becuase the penalty of doing this where he came from is death.... the terrorists prob are mad about it and all.... Please pray it all goes to God's glory and it will be ok.

I'll pray, that is awesome, I was just talking to a trio of muslim girls about God, I know more about Islam then they did. I pray that all Muslims will find Jesus. Thanks for that Kisa

I have a friend that was a Muslim... after it was found out he converted he was kidnapped and tortured by electric shocks and stuff (btw, this was in a Muslim country), but he escaped miraculously and managed to come to Australia.

Praise God for his courage. I pray for his safety and continued courage. It will be rewarded in one way or another - by lending courage to other muslims or just planting seeds that there is indeed a choice for those who feel trapped in that religon.

I'll pray. But I'm glad to hear the good news, that must have taken a lot of courage.

It's scary to think about the dangers people face when converting from other religions, especially in countries where that religion is so prevalent... it's really opened up my eyes.

I don't know about other countries, but here in New Zealand society tends to demand that Christians stay quiet where other faiths are concerned - and points out what it regards as flaws in Christianity. I have heard one person claim Hitler to have been a Christian (which I cannot believe), am told about the Crusades (which I must admit I know very little about)....

...yet why is this sort of thing not shown or made known in my country? Maybe that's a rhetorical question.

The basis of Christianity (I believe) is love. God is love. God sent his son to die for us, and in the same way we are meant to love another. In New Zealand there is a subtle society message that says: 'every religion is just as good as each other, they all really say the same thing.' It's not true! Christianity teaches love! Christianity does not murder, or hurt, or take vengeance, right? How can the two religions be at all similar or 'say the same thing?' How is it that there is pressure in NZ (and, I wonder, in other countries, too...?) not to be able to speak out against such crimes?

Hope you don't mind my little rant there. It's just that I suddenly saw things in a different light - and I felt frustrated at the pressure from the world that is so against Christianity - or, at least, active, life-filled, JESUS-filled Christianity. I tried to stay on-topic, though

Those muslim converts who have such courage and strength in Christ to turn to Jesus in spite of such heavy opposition - that's an amazing encouragement, joy and inspiration. May God bless them, keep them, walk closely with them and give them the strength and protection to walk through such dangers unscathed.

Hitler claimed to be Christian at first, I thnk... but anyone who put severe controls on the Church, even replacing the Bible with Mein Kampf cannot be Christian I think...

As for the Crusades... Firstly, war isn't the way of Christianity. I think there must have been an alternative purpose behind attacking Jerusalem. Don't know what, but its either that or they were seriously misguided. Not to mention, not many people were literate back then... and the Bible wasnt exactly a common read.

I am very moved to hear this, what courage! I have been hearing of sweeping conversions to Christianity in the Middle East, but it's good to see the bonds of fear and persecution loosened by such a wide-reaching testimony. May God protect this person and use them in great ways.

Ah, FYI Hitler was an atheist, as well as a speculated homosexual. He certainly had no Christian agenda, nor did any religions thrive under his regime. One of the underlying philosophies of Nazism, that the strong must prey on the inferior, was based heavily on social Darwinism and unsurprisingly he considered Jesus' teachings weak and foolish.

Wow creatureart! I know how you feel! I lived in Australia for a few years and visited New Zealand and definitley saw the way they both acted towards Christianity and other religions..... you hit it right on, they tend to embracce more, but quiet ours...
