I want to find the strength to forgive my ex-girklfriend who betrayed me in the worst way. I've found a great girl who i know i can trust, but i've recently found that I'm still bitter about how my ex treated me. It's amking it harder for me to trust the one i love now. Please pray that i can find the strength to finally forgive my ex so i can leave my bitterness behind. Thankyou in advance.

It's good to find love and God loves us and knows how hard it is to forgive. He will help you and with all who will be praying for you it will be no problem.

I know how you feel. Although I've never been out, I've been through some rough stuff. I used to like this girl (we were friends) and then I introduced her to my friend. Theres more to the story but i wont go there. Bad mistake... But I can relate. I'll pray that God will be able to help you feel better and to lift the burden of pain off your heart; the strength to forgive and move on. It can be really hard when someone you love/really like betrays you. I hope it all works out.

I heard a preacher tell a story about how he got so bitter at someone that it was ruining his life--like his walk with God and the relationship he had with his wife and kids. He learned to pray for the person who had done him wrong. He said God told him to pray until love grew in his heart for the person--the God-kind of love.

Even though it was extremely hard for him, he prayed for that person and in time, all the bitterness in his heart went away and he instead had compassion on the guy.

Just a thought for you. You can do all things through Christ!

Praise God for blessing you with someone you can trust. Yes, you need to forgive your ex and release that bitterness so that you can move on. I shall definitely pray for the spirit of forgiveness and blessings to be upon your current relationship.
