I'm no good to anyone... I just end up making the people around me suffer... I could've prevented something bad from happening to one of my friends but I was too stupid and afraid to do or say anything... I don't know why I'm even posting this... I don't deserve any help.

Everyone makes mistakes but you should hate yourself for making the wrong decision. Instead of beating yourself up by your actions, you should learn from them and that will make you a stronger and better person then before.

All of us deserves help, forgiveness, and a second chance. Even he pedophiles that rape young girls. They did horrible things but they still deserve ofrgiveness. God forgives thema d we should as well.

So nothing you do doesn't deserve God's forgiveness as help as well a shelp from your brothers and sisters in Christ.

I will pray for you.

We all make mistakes Vyse. We are all human. Read my prayer thread about im searching for the truth to see one of my many mistakes. I have learned from that mnistake though so now im a better stronger person. I hope you can learn from your kistake.

I will pray for you Vyse.

Hitokiri, I really hope you typo'd that first sentence. God doesn't hate anyone for antything they've done - why should we?!? Quite the opposite. In spite of everything you've ever done, he LIKES you. He WANTS to hang out with you. He's thrilled when you just tell him what you did today.

Everyone makes mistakes. The strong learn from them, and I think that's a category I would have to put you in Vyse. Despite how you feel now, you aren't the type to give up.

As for deserving help, that's kinda a moot point, isn't it? None of us deserve anything but hell, yet we are given heaven.

As GG said, I'll pray God's comfort on you. I may not always agree with you, but you *are* a brother in Christ.

Don't take my tone the wrong way, but if you really didn't believe you needed any help, then you wouldn't have posted in the first place. There are many times I had wished I had spoken out to things other people did and there are things I wished I never did or conceive that made me hate my life, but just remember that there are always people out there to help you either online or near you. Just remember that we're here for you. And we'll be praying.

*Grabs Vyse by the collar and lovingly smacks some sense in*

I would have never dreamed to hear somthing like that from you Vyse. I know you know better then to comdemn your self like that. If you made mistake, fine, we all have, but that does not mean the rest of your life is useless.

*Gives Vyse a good hug*
I will pray for you. You have always been one of the most caring/ giving people I've met here. Dont give up because of one incodent.

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Vyse, others have already said a lot of what I planned to. But I want you to know that despite how you're feeling now, you are no less worthy or deserving of help or comfort or anything than before.
God cares about you. People care about you. You are loved, and that's not dependent upon what you do or don't do. That's something I still have a difficult time understanding at times, but it's true.
You've already been able to help so many people, sometimes just by being there to offer words of comfort. Your life isn't meaningless or empty. I'm very very sorry that whatever happened did, and I know it's extremely difficult for you. I'm not trying to belittle any of that. But beating yourself up and getting into this kind of hopelessness isn't helping you. You're still alive and you have the opportunity to continue to live as God wants you to.

Vyse, you are my closest friend. And I am praying for you, like always.

Exactly. One of my favorite people in the world once told me that "God can't wait for you to wake up each morning." He loves us no matter what we've done. And while no one deserves forgiveness, by Christ's grace we are offered it. If your heart is sincere when you confess, He is faithful and just to forgive, cleanse and renew you.

Something bad happened, and we don't need to know the details. But you can have a hand in "all things work together for good" by learning from whatever happened and looking for ways to possibly glorify God through it.

I agree with Arbre and Gypsy, you have people who care for you. We have all made some really dumb mistakes in our lives and trust me i've made a lot. But that's how we learn and grow. It'll only make you a stronger person. Jesus forgave many people for worse things so i know if you ask for forgiveness he'll forgive you. I'll pary for you and your friend. Take care.

Depression is very easy to slide into...its somthing everyone including Christians must deal with. Get into the word...there are many times when I am depressed...but after I read for a while...I read things that make me realise that I am being silly. I would say more...but Gypsy pretty much hit the nail on the head. Always remember Vyse...our lives effect more then just us....There are many people who care about you...and when your down...they do care about that.

Its easy to allow yourself to feel like someone else is your responsibility...but in the end...everyone answers to God. Don't let yourself be sucked into trying to do everything for someone...do your best, and let the Lord use you for what He needs you for. If you mess up, like you said...let it be a learning experience.

We really are not responsible for others, as much as we want to be glorified and feel we are the ones who turn the wheels of God - we are not. With my children, I can pray for them, guide them, tell them what is right according to God's word, but I can not represent them to God. They will be with God alone and come before Him alone. We have a God of individuals, and very personal Savior.

You are not responsible for those people, only be there for them and pray for them, that is all you can do.

Now, we all make mistakes, sometimes major mistakes - just look over the man after God's own heart, David, or the fact Peter denied Christ three times - His own Lord. Mistakes happen, the real glory to God will be when you grow from that mistake and move forward and stop dwelling in it. Satan would love for you to stay crippled in your state of depression or feeling sorry for yourself and feeling guilty over something which is in HIS hands, not yours.

So, move forward and move forward toward Him. He loves you more than anything else. He loved you so much He sent His beloved Son to die a horrible death for your sin. God will always be here for you and we will be here to encourage you and pray for you.

Remember, God is in control of our every breath and He is ultimately the one in control of this situation - not you. I'm reminded of a verse that Ducky shared in our Beloved Disciple thread, Matthew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it's own." You might want to swing by our thread and read some really good stuff. ~_^

I will definitely be praying for you Vyse. ^___^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Hey Vyse, everybody else has done a good job of summing things up. God loves you no matter how rotten you feel about yourself.
In getting to know you I've always found you to be extremely earnest in your desire to help any and all in need ... to the point where it becomes unhealthy for you. I'm not saying stop caring I'm just reiterating what TNC said ... in the end you aren't responsible for what other people do ... even if you could have stopped something or whatever. Don't live in bondage to your mistakes ... remember Galatians 5:1
'It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (then it talks about the jews who were slaves to the law and trying to be good enough to earn salvation)

Your mistakes don't matter ... you're God's beloved child no matter how badly you fall on your face ... and so is your friend if he/she is a christian ...

Anyway.... I'll be praying for you.

Well, we all love ya', you're just having another one of those "moments" that everyone here's had before.

Hey, I'll be praying for you and your friend, okay? You're not useless, otherwise we wouldn't be trying to help you.

I will definitely continue to pray for you, more specifically now that I have details. There is fairly little I can say in addition to what has already been posted here by many people, but I would reiterate that you do have a great deal of worth, and that God and many other people do love you. I hope that you are blessed to become a blessing to others.

Cut the pity party, Vyse. I consider you a friend for the discussions we've occasionally had and I won't have you moping around like this. You know better.

If I had not done the same, I may have taken pity on you - I may have even thrown the first stone. The fact that you feel this way shows you have a vested interest in the lives of your friends. That's a good thing, but you won't do your friend any good by wallowing in self pity. After all, it isn't you that's just had a bad thing happen. You are not the one injured, so you have no right to be depressed.

Instead, perhaps there is something you can do for your friend now? Be there for comfort, or to help rebuild or heal. Just supply moral support.

At the very least, learn and resolve to do it right next time. And there will be a next time because I have faith that you will not use this as an excuse to withdraw from your friends. Instead you will become a better, wiser, more godly friend.

Vyse I'll just say this what everyone else has said you already know in your heart. Don't lie to yourself and don't sit there moping about it get up and try and fix it. I'd like to talk with you about this as soon as I get back. In the meantime I'll be praying for ya.

Thinking like that is crazy, Dood. I may not be able to relate cause my feelings are kina' like a statue but that don't mean my advice isn't good. Think happy thoughts, Dood. If you weren't important, then God would have brought you on this planet as a rock, or a dog. And unless you're a Golem or Inuyasha, (which I doubt) then you're no dog or rock or even slightly related to one. Eating dog food doesn't make you a dog, it makes you weird. And being in one place, not moving, not breathing, or anything at all doesn't mean you're a rock, it means you're dead, Dood.
