Hey good luck and I wouldn't worry too much. I've found that if you make it to the test you probably have already passed. Unless something goes horribly wrong...and you forget every single thing you ever learned...and just stand there with a blank stare on your face. But I don't think that will happen to you lol.

You're very thankful, aren't you? Haha! I'll pray for you; I went through that years ago and got my black belt in Ryu Kyu Kempo (but I think our teacher made it way too easy -- it only took me about four years to get a black belt!)

Hah, dont worry about going for that rank! Tis easy... well, depending on how harsh your style is. I have my green with a brown stripe, and it was a snap to get. My karate style is Go Ju Shin Ryu.

well i passed with flying colors. well maybe not flying colors but i did pass. i messed up a lot but i basically showed that i knew the stuff. i guess he thought that i showed promise.

I've wanted to study martial arts my whole life. My mom is looking around for a studio. Before my grandma fell on hard times she gave us some money I can use to pay my way! So I'm hoping to start in October.
Pray that there won't be any more delays and I'll find a good teacher!
