Yeah, that can be a drag, especially when you use the internet to play great music and chat with good people such as fellow CAA members. *prays*

I'll pray that you'll be able to find out what the problem is and sort it out.

I will definitely be praying for you, Sher. ^____^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

It's times like these that I just say, "Next time, I'm getting a Mac."

Of course, that solves nothing at the time being, does it?

I'll pray for you, and all of us who have Internet troubles. :thumb:

Thanks for praying everyone. Ladies and gentlemen, we have internet. Yay. :) (Still open to thoughts on why that happened.)

Here's what happened. Tuesday, one of AOL's main routers went down. This router served the larger LA area's AOL DSL subscribers, and happened to be responsible for our area. Come Friday, AOL had connected its DSL subscribers through an alternate router. Unfortunately, this router did not have sufficient capacity to handle the traffic put across it (I think traffic was sent through a couple of dialup routers, based on traceroute information), and the router was dropping a lot of packets. (after the network stabilized, I measured >30% packetloss for icmp. - so it was only handling about 6-7 out of 10 packets. DNS seems to have had similar loss rates.) Now, either the original router or a capable replacement had been brought online.
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.
