A mixed request

Postby SpikeSpiegel306 » Sun Oct 17, 2004 6:49 pm

Well this is kind of a weird one because it incorporates a request that is the result of a praise.
I just found out today that I passes my entrance exams to enter into Tokyo U! As of April 1st I am an official Tokyo University student. That is the praise portion.
As for the request portion...I was not expecting to make it into Tokyo U so soon, I was planning on being a 1 or 2 year Ronin, and I wasnt planning on having to return to Japan so early or without my parents. I do not have the funds to be able to fly back to Japan yet and the deadline is coming quickly. So please pray that God will provide with enough support and money from jobs for me to return to Japan by March.

Thanks, I deeply appreciate it.

You made it into Tokyo U!

CONGRATS! *Throws confetti into air*

Now, don't get crushed by the giant onion! (Obscure Love Hina reference)

I'll pray for ya, bud!

First off I wanted to say congrats.
It seems like your in a pickle here. I will pray that you will be able to return to Japan by march. I know it must cost a lot to keep going back and forth, it must me hard. I hope the best for you and good luck.

Congratulations, as far as I know, that's a great achievement. I'll pray for you. I was planning on trying to make it to Harvard or Yale...is Tokyo U better?

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! How absolutely wonderful! You should be so pleased with yourself!

Secondly, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. You are so young to begins such an experience, but still....what a great opportunity!

Thirdly.....I am currently watching Love Hina, so seeing this thread put a huge smile on my face, since no one in the anime can seem to get into Tokyo U.

Again, congrats!

Wow, and only 16. That's great, and Tokyo U is one of the best coleges in the world, as far as that goes.

Father, show Spike Your path. Show him what You have planned and teach him Your ways be it in Tokyo or Texas. I know You will provide for Him on the path You have chosen for him and I pray he will do great things in Your name in that far away land.

Amen.

I don't necessarily understand the complete significance of that recent outcome but it must be something worth praising God for. ^_^

I shall pray for the solution that you're looking for. Until then, stay faithful and wait upon the Lord.

How cool! (about getting into Tokyo University) Regarding the financial situation, I thought I had it rough just going to the next state for school. I'll pray for you, and congratulations!
