Just a word of praise to the Lord!

Postby Rogie » Sun May 23, 2004 11:33 am

Hey, guys, I just had to say how much the Lord has blessed me in the past couple of days. I started a new job (layout and ad design at the local newspaper) and although I had a horrible first day that got me scared and completely nervous, the Lord helped me through the second day, and I'm sure He will continue to do so. The problem with the first day was that I didn't sincerely ask God for help as I began the job -- a lesson in humility, no doubt.

In addition to that, I have also gotten close to my parents again within the past few days, which is wonderful, since we have been drifting apart lately.

It's always nice to not only ask for prayer and to offer prayer for others, but also to send up a word of praise to God for all that He does, and it's good to share that praise with others. :thumb:

It's Great news to hear that things are working out for you, God indeed answer your prayer request, i am so happy for you, and i hope things continute for you in the future, also glad you are getting things taken care of with you and your parents too. If i hang around you enough maybe things would change for me, no, that's not how it works, esp. for me, but i am truely happy for you, God bless you, and remember to lend onto God when you feel discourage. lonelyone.

Sorry to hear about your job, but bootcamp might lead you into something else, maybe God will have a plan for you, ask God for his directions, and good luck too.
