Suffering from Extreme Procrastination

Postby DangoDaikazoku » Mon May 02, 2011 9:52 pm

:mutter: I am absolutely sick of procrastinating. SICK OF IT!!! I have began to see it as the eigth deadly sin. It is eating my life up. There isn't time to sleep, none-the-less spend actualy quality time with God. It is driving me up the wall. The past month, or three, procrastination has been steadily building up. Every time I get it under control it rises its head beck up with a vengance. In fact all year it has been doing this, but beside the point. It has finally crossed the line.
:bang:
I have been driven over the edge, and I need help getting back up. I have been asking God for guidance, to keep me focused on the important tasks, and off of youtube. YOUTUBE NEEDS TO DIE! At least until the summer...
:?:
So could you please perhaps pray for me? Keep me off of the internet (Thank You God for letting me not have a Facebook) unless I actually need to reasearch. Keep me from distractions and let Satan and his little devils flee in terror at my focus!!
 (That's me after I stop procrastinating)
Thank You For Your Time,

It's not whether you can or can't do it, it is if you do it or not. Nothing comes easy in this world, especially a job or money. I rely on Jesus to get me through these hard times of persecution.

At the risk of sounding condescending, I do believe that procrastination is already considered one of the Seven Deadly Sins, that being "Sloth." :p

I will be praying. Do what I do when I need to do something important but procrastinate. Take down the internet and pull away the cords for the television so there is no cable. Then burn all un-important books and throw everything you think could be distracting in the local dumpster...

..or, you could make a schedule as to when you should read your Bible for about half-an-hour.

Also Nate is right, we need Youtube. NEED. IT. How else can I see spoof videos?
