Emotional Rollercoaster

Postby Sapphire225 » Thu Apr 28, 2011 1:09 pm

Today was quite a day, in which I would like to ask for prayer as well as give praise.

I learned that an old family friend of ours died this morning, which left me in an emotional wreck for most of the morning. However, I get a text shortly after telling me that my sister got accepted into the college she wanted to go to. Later on today, I see my friend (look at my other prayer request) in such an emotional state that I didn't know how to comfort her. However, I learned from another friend that two other friends of mine are engaged and planned to get married next year.

In any case, I didn't expect both the good and bad to appear at the same time, but of course, God is a God of comfort and I have faith that he'll allow everyone to move on and live their lives. He is also an awesome God to point out the good in what seems like the bad. In any case, please pray for my friend and my family and I.

I will be praying as well. :)
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NIV, Romans 8:38-39.
