My cousin is having trouble with his mom

Postby IZ&Trigun4life » Sat Mar 06, 2004 12:02 pm

ok this is my last prayer request but anyway my cousin whos ten years oldis having trouble with his mom. his dad and her are divorsed and every other weekend he goes to see her. My cousin loves the lord with all his heart and has even brought some of his friends to Jesus. but my cousin is having A Huge problem, see his stepmother who is my cousin biologically has told us his birthmother, is into witch to witch craft and is a satanist. and see the sad part is that his he loves his mom and still wants to see her even if she is one of the enimes followers. im afraid that if hes exposed to...well that kinda stuff that he might get into it and we'll loose him too. it would be nice if his dad got full custody of him, but i dont know what that would do to Robbie (my cousin). again could you please pray for my cousin and the rest of our mix up family.

I'm praying.
Foresight and Hindsight

Showed me two different streets.

The first showed me fame and fortune,

The second wishes to change my defeats.

I will pray for your cousin's strength in his religion and finds solace in his family's faith as well. If he is stoic enough, he will stay with the Lord he loves already.

However, I must say this: I also pray that your cousin spends time with his biological mother. No one should be denied the chance to see their parent/child - no one. Love is needed regardless of religious choices. I personally believe in forgiving the sinner.

Besides, her son may be her only hope to convert to Christianity.

It will work out for good in the end. *smiles softly*

I agree with Akaida that her son may be the only one who can tell her about God's love for her and for everyone. I'll pray.

I'm praying for your family, after all, family is God's plan for human expression of love,
Vash: In the end...he just couldn't kill a man in cold blood. His daughter's murder goes unpunished. Call him weak, but...it saved both of us.

When you find yourself in the company of a halfling and an ill-tempered
Dragon, remember, you do not have to outrun the Dragon...
...you just have to outrun the halfling.

I'll be praying.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."
